This album is is a mixture of traditional and contemporary powwow songs. Traditional songs are sung in sylabic sounds..while contemporary songs are written in native language. We recorded this album in the fall at our gym in Shubenacadie First Nation. Our friends and family were around us and we were inspired to sing our hearts out.
